I just want to make it clear that I don’t think there’s anything wrong with veganism .
In a free society, you are free to believe in what religion you want to believe in, and you are free to believe in no religion at all.
You are free to have whatever political beliefs you want.
You are free to practice any diet you think is ideal for you.
If you think tons of meat is good for you, then that is your right. (Just remember that if you don’t get enough fiber in your diet from plant-based foods, your health – especially colorectal health – will suffer.)
If you think a balanced diet of animal-based foods and plant-based foods is ideal for you, then go for it.
If you think a primarily plant-based diet with little or no meat is ideal for you, then go for it.
If you think a totally plant-based diet with no animal-based foods whatsoever is ideal for you, then go for it.
But when meatheads and ethical vegans – vegans who practice veganism more as a religion than a dietary choice – you belittle and bully others for their dietary choices, then you are crossing the line.
Meat eaters, you do not have the right to belittle and bully vegetarians and vegans for their dietary choices.
Ethical vegans, you do not have the right to harass, ridicule, and bully meat eaters and/or lacto-ovo-vegetarians.
Anybody who harasses others for their dietary choices is a bigot and an extremist.
A meat eater who makes fun of vegans/vegetarians and/or harasses/bullies them with snide remarks or threats is an extremist and deserves to be scrutinized by the federal government.
An ethical vegan who makes fun of meat eaters and/or lacto-ovo-vegetarians and/or harasses/bullies them with snide remarks or threats is an extremist and deserves to be scrutinized by the federal government.
Meat eaters like David Martosko and “ethical vegans” like CDLver and Karyn Swaney (Kay7271) are paid by the federal government to start flame wars between meat eaters, lacto-ovo-vegetarians, and vegans with the hope of getting a violent response from meat eaters or vegans in order to justify increased surveillance of the internet and outright internet censorship.
It’s people like David Martosko who justify “vegan rights” and a future where criticizing ethical veganism and animal rights is declared a hate crime.
It’s time to get the radical elements pushed aside so common ground can be found to get our food back to nature and out of the hands of Monsanto and Cargill.
